
Catherine Bazile
Catherine Bazile represents clients in the acquisition, exploration, production, and divestiture of oil and gas properties, including negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, exploration and development agreements, leases, joint operating agreements, farmout agreements, surface use agreements, and financing agreements, and conducting extensive due diligence. In addition, Catherine examines title to fee, state, federal, and Indian lands throughout the Rocky Mountain region, renders drilling, division order, acquisition, and financing title opinions, and counsels clients on all aspects of title curative work. She further advises clients on a wide range of issues relating to mineral conveyances and federal, state, and fee oil and gas leases.
Catherine is admitted to practice in Colorado and Wyoming.
Previously, Catherine was an of counsel attorney with Holland & Hart LLP in Denver for nearly nine years. She also was an associate at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP in Denver and completed a one-year judicial clerkship with Justice Allison H. Eid of the Colorado Supreme Court (now a U.S. Tenth Circuit judge). She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, cum laude, in 2005, and received her undergraduate degrees, summa cum laude and with highest honors, from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2002. She was named a Rising Star in Energy and Natural Resources by Colorado Super Lawyers in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2018, and 2019.
